Q: What is your vision for the New York Chapter in 2024-25?
A: My vision is simple but ambitious: to make our chapter the most welcoming and vibrant Hindi community in the region. I want every member — from the newest family to our founding members — to feel that this chapter is their home away from home, and that Hindi is a living, breathing language in their lives, not just a nostalgic memory.
Q: What programs are you most excited about this year?
A: I'm particularly excited about our expanded youth programs. We're launching a junior Hindi journalism club, a Hindi drama workshop, and doubling our scholarship fund to support students pursuing Hindi studies at the college level.
