एक चींटी थी और एक टिड्डा था। There was an ant and a grasshopper.
गर्मियों में चींटी मेहनत से खाना इकट्ठा करती थी। In summer, the ant diligently collected food.
टिड्डा खेलता और गाता था। The grasshopper would play and sing.
चींटी ने कहा: "सर्दियों के लिए खाना जमा करो।" The ant said: "Store food for winter."
टिड्डे ने नहीं सुना। The grasshopper did not listen.
जब सर्दी आई, टिड्डे के पास खाना नहीं था। When winter came, the grasshopper had no food.
उसने चींटी से खाना माँगा। He asked the ant for food.
चींटी ने कहा: "मेहनत करते तो भूखे नहीं रहते।" The ant said: "If you had worked hard, you would not be hungry."
