Washington DC Chapter's Hindi Day event at George Mason University was attended by two US Congressmembers, officials from the Indian Embassy, and leaders from the Hindi academic community. The event featured a panel on "Hindi as a Strategic Asset in US-India Relations" and a performance by the Grammy-nominated Indian classical ensemble Raga Mala. It was the most high-profile Hindi Day event in IHA's history.
